Who is older you or your brother? is your dad around? are there any family, aunts, uncles, older siblings, or grandparents that maybe your brother can stay with. Because your mom and brother definitely need time away from each other. Do you have the type of relationship where you can speak truthfully with your mom, to let her know what you see? maybe you can speak with a minister, priest, or rabbi, what’s needed is a mediator. I don’t believe what your brother says, he’s just frustrated, however this isn’t a good environment for either of them, or you. I can understand how tough this is for all of you, good luck!

Mass Effect 2 question: Assault Rifle?
If I start the game as an Adept/Engineer/Sentinel, will I still be able to use the Assault Rifle later in the game? I played as a Vanguard on my 1st playthrough and managed to use it after I found it on the collector ship mission. Just wondering if will find it and able to use it again on the collector ship, playing as other classes (except for Soldiers of course).

alright, well. to start off

i wouldn’t call myself athletic. i only train in the summer for my sport, then play it. then tra la la the rest of the year until summer again. but i condition every few times with some friends….and we have school’s conditioning in May.
120? 130? 130 is off season of volleyball. so i guess i’m this since i’m currently off season.
but most of the time i’m 120. give or take how many pounds of food i consume.
im either really active, or really lazy. but i eat like no other. regular day i’ll eat,
morning-whatever i had for dinner.(i have a tough stomach. i’m really weak to breakfeast food)
throughout the day i’ll eat random things like cheezits, wheat thins, cheese, some veges, blah blah. drink lemonade, root beer, water(barely…)
i eat dinner throughout the day..i get really hungry.
and i eat at night time too. (food taste best after 10..i’ll say…)

my dad has high cholesterol. i got my blood check for my physical and it said that i had it too.
he prescribed me medicines(which i lost that sheet) but my family didn’t want me on meds
because i was playing volleyball at the time. so they thought my problem would be fixed.

well, volleyball season is over. and since yesterday i got this random pinch in my chest area. on my left side(where the heart is …obviously) it was a random pinch, but it hurt. lasted like two seconds long? one sec? i got it once yesterday. and two times today…

i don’t think at 16 i should be having these. and i really hate to cut back my food intake. but i think my problem is because i gobbled down two boxs of slim jim once a day, once.

You are right about one thing, at 16 you shouldn’t be having these problems. Yet with a family history you aren’t doing much, at least that’s the way you make it sound like, to help yourself get any better where you are health wise. In today’s world with so much information out there with all the dangers listed I don’t know why you wouldn’t pay more attention to it than you are. I don’t know why your family wants to play around it either. It is much too dangerous to let just slide, but that is up to you, it is your health and I just hope you have good health insurance for when you are going to need it.
The pinching in your upper body parts happens because you have a pinched nerve and maybe muscle there. When you move just right it causes the pain to focus on the pinched part and makes the pain given off worse than it was, in little shooting pains, or even long ones. Here is how you can release those muscles to get rid of the pain:

Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but remain there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.

I need help, it is a fight?
Okay, so, I got into a fight with this one kid about 3 months ago over nothing. He came at me and surprised hit me while I was walking to class only twice. All of my friends have been telling me that he wants to hit me again for no reason recently.

So about two days ago, I was walking home, and he was waiting for me about a street away from my house. My friend was with me and he jumped in and told the kid to go away or he will fight him. The kid didn’t do home and he punched my friend. So my friend hit him and they fought until a car broke it up.

Today, my friends have told me that this kid and his friends have sent a death threat to me. They have been saying that they want to kill me.

My question is, is it legal to carry any sort of non lethal weapon around with me? and is it legal to use it in self-defense if he comes at me alone or with people?
I live in Florida. and I am only 16

I did talk to the police about this four days ago. But I really don’t like the police and school system.

And a knife is legal to be carried around, but the blade can’t be bigger than the palm of your hand (4-5 inches). I don’t know if I can carry a knife under the age of 18 with it being under 4-5 inches.
I don’t like it because I live in a really bad city.

Most police are very good.

Consider the situaltion. All this started over nothing? That’s really sad. Unfortunately some guys like to look for a fight and aren’t satisfied until the person they pursue fights back or something… it’s kinda nuts… if this happens a whole whole lot and its really that dangerous maybe there are some changes you can make to avoid them. It isnt worth getting hurt over. Get advise and coucelling maybe from school if needed. Maybe walk home NOT ALONE

Okay so here is the skinny, and it ain’t good for you. It is not legal for you to carry a weapon of any kind to school thanks to Columbine, nor is it legal for him to threaten you with bodily harm. The charge is Terroristic Threatening and the cops will do nothing about it till you break the law over it yourself. Then more then like, they will come after you because your the easier prey.

Soo, you have to be truant. Best case is you call your school councilor and tell them plainly and Simply , "I am not coming to school because I have received death threats from _______. No one seems to want to do anything about it or help me. I want to graduate, but this person and his friends are going to make that impossible." Tell the counselor the story about the fight in the street, and see what he says.

Please make this call in front of a witness, or better yet several witnesses. Record the time and date of the call, and what the counselor said to you. Now you have a leg stand on. If the counselor blows you off, you can use this later to sue the school. It is up to them, by law, to provide you with a safe learning environment.

Now, go to your COUNTY Prosecutor’s office and turn in a formal complaint. They will need to know who this person is and who passed you the message. They will need to talk to your friend.

As you can see, doing this the right way is involved and requires a commitment to pursue on your part. BUT in the end, seeing this person trying to get through schooling in a locked unit with his whole life ruined because of it, it can be sooo much more satisfying then a mean cut to the upper arm from a knife. I have a 14yrs girl
and she has runaway since 12yrs old - she was gone for 2weeks (it felt like yrs)
she return voluntary appear at school and she was already in alert at school so she got detained until i got there and so one alot of drama
the yrs past and she just keeps on doing it
especially on fridays she just decides she wont come home and no calls no trace from her -
she has no cell phone for the same reason - no internet access from my home - but she gets it from others her friends
she uses frineds to cover up for her -
i do get numbers and talk to parents where my daughter has or will be
i place my daughter in missing children 2times and other just made the report a total of 4reports
police go to my home and talk to her - she just dont care
i cant put her in any boot camp - to expensive and she cant be arrested since she has not commited any crime or anything that can involve her to get arrested
just a smart mouth girl
she is 14 but acts and looks much older
i was told once a runaway they will do it again-
i am married we both work and live decent
we had counseling in the past
too much to say
but as a parent how are u dealing with a runaway kid?

Take her to a homeless shelter and a really rugged, junkie-infested part of town. Show her what her life will be like if she keeps this up. Maybe see if there’s a way you can force her to do community service in a soup kitchen or something.

Basically, try to show her that her life really isn’t so bad. Scare the crap out of her with reports or pictures online or raped and murdered teenage girls that ran away from home. It sounds harsh and sick but hey…at least she might see the light and be safe.

i don’t know if i can help, but i can offer sympathy. my 2nd child was a habitual runaway. every time he got mad, off he’d go. i’d call out everyone we knew to go hunt for him & get him back home. it was really tough sometimes. how do you make a kid stay home who clearly doesn’t want to be there? not sure i ever found the answer to that one. as of now, he’s a great human being. he’s married, a father of 2, in the military & does a good job for them, very responsible. he turned his life around in every important way. so, don’t give up. there’s still hope for your situation too. maybe just sit down w/ her & talk … actually let her talk & you listen to anything she says, no matter how colorful the language, don’t correct any part of it, just let her vent, see if it will open a door for more chat later. you can fix problems only if you know what they are.

Bus driver rejected my System One pass?
Coming home before, my System One pass was rejected. I had my GMPTE Under 16 pass along with my System One 7-Day pass. But the driver (First Manchester) rejected my pass because "he had never seen one before." What is this all about? It says on the System One website that you can use this pass on First Manchester? By the way, it’s my first ever time of using one! It is genuine as I bought it from the GMPTE Travel Shop for ?8! What should I do if this happens again? She he have rejected me to get on the bus?

Double check firstly with the System One staff - you’ll have to go into one of their Travelshops (as the website doesn’t accept queries). If they confirm you can use them on First Manchester Buses, then:

Call First Manchester, tell them the bus number and when/where/what time you tried to board, and them ask them if they might consider retraining their staff, because you were refused travel when you shouldn’t have been.
