Starwars…was enevating, new…and it’s a story line. Can’t have 1 w/out the others, where as, that maybe what gives Indy it’s future…you can start anywhere and each story…has tidbits from the past movies, but each can be watched seperatly. Both have the potential for futures, but Indy has the best chance, esp introducing a possible "future replacement of Indy" w/ the last movie.

Still, Star wars: my 4 year old knows Starwars and not indy. he watched it….but forgot about it a few weeks later. Still talks about star wars clone wars…lol.

Some advice needed!!?
I am suppose to be a maid of honor for my friend in 3 months, but I just found out that my brother is having his first communion the same day and almost the same hour. I really am stuck between these two eventss…I know that the wedding is really important its hopefully once in life but than the communion is also very important to my family and our church…so what good advice would you give me… the events are happening in the same city, if i go to my brothers communion i would still be able to go to the reception but not be at the ceremony as a maid of honor…advice would be helpful I feel so torn in this…. 2 year old no longer wants to be held at all?
My daughter is basically known for being a cuddle monster. Especially with me (her Mom). She will be turning 2 the end of this month. I’m talking up until a week ago she was so drastic with this that it was near impossible to get a single thing done, I could hardly even break away long enough to go to the bathroom! It’s so weird. She is a thumbsucker but due to the cold weather her thumb got really chapped and even cracked open. Once this happened, she stopped sucking her thumb cold turkey and has stopped cuddling! She doesn’t want rocked a night (like she always HAD to be) she just wants placed right into her crib. I used to actually get a bit frustrated with how clingy she was and now I have to practically force her to let me hold her for 30 seconds! I’m sad, I know she has to gain some independence but this just seems so sudden. Is this normal?

my daughter is 18 months and she use to give kisses all the time now if i ask for a kiss she either runs away screaming NO! or will come and put her cheek out but she won’t actually kiss you. i think she is just becoming more independent. i say give her sometime. if it continues that she wants nothing at all to do with you then ask her doctor. some autistic children i’ve read aren’t able to show affection but if she still does show some just less than normal i say she should be fine and is just a phase.

Well I think she’s just starting to feel a little more secure I wouldn’t worry to much about it right now as I think she feels quit secure in her home. It sounds like you have worked hard to ensure your daughter has a good environment. If she’s still doing her other activities per normal then don’t worry about it. Do they eat Guinea Pigs in Peru?
So, my college’s Spanish department is going to Peru this year. And, one of the guys in that department started telling everyone that they eat Guinea Pigs in Peru. And, this ticked off one of my professors because he would convince people to go on the trip when this guy would scare them off by telling them that they eat Guinea Pigs and Peru.

So, is it true that they eat Guinea Pigs in Peru? Or, is this just an urban legend. Because, I also read they eat babies in China and while that’s not as bad as eating guinea pigs, it’s still pretty awful.

And I have found them in Lima too… If you go to the Downtown, you will find carts where people are selling guinea pigs on sticks! I have been there 4 times and have yet to try it. But I really want to! Some say it tastes like chicken, others say it tastes blan… Either way. I want to be able to say I have!

Go! It is an amazing place! You wont want to leave. And even if you don’t eat that, don’t be fooled, not all their food is weird like that. Peruvian food is the BEST! QUE RICO!!!

Yes, they do eat guinea pigs, but not all of them do. The ones that dont are most likely from Lima and theyre all like "ewww i would never eat guinea pig, theyre rodents!!!", but in other places it is completely acceptable. so it really depends where you are. I suggest you eat it, it is sooo good.

The woman who owned the house we were staying in was raising them in pens out behind the house.
If you can find it, there is a show on Food Network called "Extreme Cuisine with Jeff Corwin" (or something like that). The episode that aired last Thursday (8 Oct) was on Peru, and cuy was one of the foods that they covered. Would be a good show for the folks planning to go on the trip to watch.

Is this dream a bad omen?
Not too long ago I had the most vivid dream i’ve ever had. I woke up got out of bed. I got ready for work and before I was about to leave I looked back towards my room to make sure my door was locked and saw the grim reaper standing at my door. I got scared and ran out of the house got in my car and as i was nearing the end of the drive way i looked back towards the house and he was standing at my front door. i then woke up exactly the way i woke up in the dream. It really freaked me out and was just wanting to know if anyone could tell me if it means anything.

No - you’re relying too much on protein shakes.

Creationists what happened to legless lizards?
According to the bible snakes lost their legs because god cursed them (see genesis), creationists display the nonfunctional leg stubs in some snakes to prove that is true. (Though how a 30 ft python got around on legs……)

My question is what did legless lizards do to heve their legs taken from them by god, OR did they lose their legs through evolution????
If you cant answer this question then creationism must be a fail.

Anniellidae ? all members of the family are limbless.
Gymnophthalmidae ? Many limbless and nearly-limbless species.
Scincidae ? Many limbless and nearly-limbless species.
Gerrhosauridae ? Several limbless or reduced-limbed species.

I honestly don’t see how people can even think of them losing their limbs because of sin. It doesn’t make sense. Aside from it being physically and completely impossible and illogical, it could also be said that amputees lost their limbs because of sin. That would just be a major b-move on God’s part.
