IMDB rating: 7.20 Plot: When folk icon Irving Steinbloom passed away, he left behind a legacy of music and a family of performers he has shepherded to folk stardom. To celebrate a life spent submerged in folk, Irving’s loving son Jonathan has decided to put together a memorial concert featuring some of Steinbloom’s best-loved musicians. There’s Mitch and Mickey, who were the epitome of young love until their partnership was torn apart by heartbreak; classic troubadours The Folksmen, whose records were endlessly entertaining for anyone able to punch a hole in the center to play them; and The New Main Street Singers, the most meticulously color-coordinated neuftet ever to hit an amusement park. Now for one night only in New York City’s Town Hall, these three groups will reunite and gather together to celebrate the music that almost made them famous. |

Read this please! =)?
Okay the following are some poems that i have written. please tell me what you think of each one.
Undertow.
If the world is gone then where will I go.
I’m tossed in the wind like a flake of snow.
No control of where, how, or even when.
I used to know, but this is now and that was then.
When the world collapses around my ears.
No one will be there to see the tears.
Freshly spilled like a river of blood.
Emotions slip out caught in the flood.
I’m grasping at straws with no sense of direction.
Try as I might my life’s far from perfection.
It started as a flaw, a crack in the glass.
Then it grew bigger and I fell flat on my ass.
So, if the world is gone then where will I go?
Do not ask me cause I can hardly know.

Day Break.
Night always comes, inky and grim.
To swallow up day til it fills to the brim.
We all have to wait for dusk to turn day.
But when it does, its worth it we say.
Day is now as perpetual as night seemed.
The sun on our skin as warm as we dreamed.

Ephemeral.
Her soul is lost for but a few.
Life extinguished like morning dew.
A life lost is cause for weep.
It’s a mighty wall deaths vines will creep.
When the day is done, and death has won.
Life still shines a burning sun.

Love
Love is like fire it’s hot and it burns.
The one thing in life for which everyone yearns.
The thing I can’t hold, the thing I can’t grasp.
Love holds my heart in it’s clasp.

Death
People come and people go.
Like the tides we ebb and flow.
Adamant I await for my time to pass.
When death comes to shatter life like glass.
I will look the reaper in the eyes.
Gently as i fall to my demise.
By James Casteel.
Dear James,
Usually i stay in the history section but as i was going there i saw your question but when i clicked on it there were poems, which i don’t read at all. When started reading the first one then i couldn’t stop. I want to just say wow, those are really amazing, usually poems are very superficial but yours seem, to give a very deep meaning. Thanks for sharing. I hope you write more and organize them into different categories like love, life, and work. Also collect them and write a poem book and have it published, now days you can do it by yourself simply write it on your computer and then have it published online through publishing companies.
Again Thanks for sharing these James, and keep them deep in meaning.

WOW. These are amazing. good job. keep writing.
Yep. Depressive one and all. even the one about love. did you recently lose someone?
Otherwise try lightening the tone. Be happy, Be defiant of death, Be Crazy, fight the good fight, Have faith, Have hope, Have heart, Remember the best, Focus on the good.
It doesn’t always have to have a light tone. But a passive and dark tone is just depressive. I can’t think why I would want to read something that depresses me.

Wow, you ask quite a lot of questions… still, keep writing!
