~Homeless in 16 days need help asap~?
Me and my wife who we just found out is 12 weeks pregnant lost our home the day before christmas. The women we were renting from was 78yrs old and our lease was hand written when she passed since the lease wasn’t notarized her niece who was left the property terminated the lease which we had on a month to month basis. We also have two dogs, Our move out date is January 12th. We are hoping to find a place to move by then. I know with the economy our chances of getting a loan are slim to none. My wife works part time as a waitress for 2.15 and hour. I have never been one to accept a handout let alone ask for one, i only fear that i will not be able to provide for my family. We will be able to get our $300 deposit back however that will not be enough. I just had knee surgery and will be unable to work for another 3 months. Go there or call 211. You can find a list of homeless shelters and any services that you may be eligible for. A lot of programs now are formed just to PREVENT homelessness. Look into what your city and state has to offer. Worse comes to worse, you end up in a homeless/family shelter and are eligible for even more services. There is nothing wrong with asking for help, well maybe the pay pal thing, but asking for help is perfectly fine. Good luck with that request. You know no one is going to just send you money. Call the salvation army or contact your local welfare office to get into some income based housing. If you have to get rid of the dogs it’s better than being homeless. Unless you are full of crap.
