how do you get that perfect makeup look? like where its not cakey? PLEASE help?

i want make up like this:

but mine always comes out like just blah. i mean i think its mostly the concealer part. i want just a even complexion like up there and also, when i put the liquid foundation on my nose, you can see like all the little bumps, or pores or whatever they are, and i have to put pounds of powder on my nose to cover up the redness and i can never get that flawless look. i have a TON of different liquid foundations, so please anything will help.
or like this

just the foundation not the eye make up. it just looks really pretty

Both of those pictures have been retouched.

powders are much better for looks and for your skin, try Pur make-up i use it and its great you can get it at Ulta for like $20

Retouching is a big reason their complexion looks so perfect. No-body’s skin is THAT perfect. Everyone has pores and even little bumps. No amount of make-up will take them away - but photoshop and a few hours will make your skin perfect.

Just buy make-up that has a dewy finish and you’ll have radiant, non-cakey skin.

Victoria’s Secret just came out with a liquid foundation which has a beautifully dewy finish.

Avoid powders because that will cake your skin.

both of those photos arent ‘real life’ they have been airbrushed, everyone has pores and imperfections its human!

eg. look at brittany murphy in this photo, how amazing her skin looks! makes u want skin like hers!!

but then look at the same photo after retouching, she has dark circles under her eyes, scars, blemishes and pores.

basicaly what im trying to say is its impossible to get skin like the girls in the photos u show as its digitally inhanced, but you can work with what youve got and make the best of it!

i make my pores CLOSE to invisible by using the Avon Pure Pore-Fection mask twice a week, its now only available on ebay i think but its worth it, i bought like 5 tubes lol.

every morning and night remove your makeup with gentle products, then cleanse, tone and moisturise, i STRONGLY recommend the LUSH skincare range, all natural products are so much better for your skin, and they make a different product for every skin problem and since changing over to this brand, my skin has never looked better!!
this is my skin with NO RETOUCHING. it never use to be this clear/glowy, its that Avon facemask its amazing, ur pores shrink after just one use! and LUSH cleansers, toner and moisturiser.

now with makeup less is more, i learnt this growing up, i use to put on more foundation and powder so i thought my skin looked better but it just cakes, all you need is a primer (not necesary but helps fill pores and smooth skin) GREEN TONED concealer to cover redness and dark circles, a foundation blended with either a damp sponge or stippling brush, and a light dusting of powder to stop shine and minimize pores again.

now watch this video to see how to do it:
