WHY doesn't Wall Street SUe obama for usurping and violating their Constitutional Right to Free Enterprise?
No other president in our history (except wilson) muscled businesses…like the Communist Chinese do. So why doesn’t the legal community stop him?

There is NO Constitutional "right to free enterprise."
Billy Blaze | Feb 05, 2010

Impeachment is the only way to get rid of a crooked or treasonous President, and that is not really possible with Pelosi and the Democrats in charge of the House.
Shovel Ready | Feb 05, 2010

Kind of makes you wonder what’s in Obama’s stock portfolio. On the news that he was going to make it harder for banks to make a profit, stocks fell over 400 points in 2 days and wiped out ALL of the gains of 2010. Wonder how much he made off that?
Drew Bloodsd | Feb 05, 2010

So they want the right to Lie Cheat and Steal from the American public ?
No Thanks .
bluechristy | Feb 05, 2010

Violating the right to rape, pillage and drive the global economy into the ground?
I didn’t know that was in the constitution. Does that mean issuing bad mortgages and selling them as "Grade A" paper is an amendment?

If anyone robs a bank I hope that’s not their defense..
ugotthat | Feb 05, 2010

Unfortunately it might be too late for that as Obama and his commy friends have successfully invaded the USA and taken it over and are on track to bankrupt the treasury and turn this country into a poor third world and abolish the constitution and create a dictatorship // Man do you remember the movie "Gone with the Wind"?? Well your now living in the sequel "Gone with the Wind Again"??
moo goo gai pan | Feb 05, 2010

It has long been recognized by economists that the financial industry need to be regulated to have a stable economy and the constitutional battles about it were fought in the first half of the 20th century. Obama just want to reinstate some of the limits that were removed since 1980. Free enterprise is not a moral principle but an economic system that maximize peoples welfare but when markets suffer from moral hazards like the financial industry does, welfare is improved by government regulation.

Yet, obviously, this is a rather tough dream for a rat. But opportunity knocks when a young boy, who desperately needs to keep his job at the restaurant, despite his lack of cooking abilities, discovers and partners the young Remy. Its up to the two of them to avoid the insane head chef, bring the rest of Remy’s family up to his standards, win his partner a girl, and, of course, produce the finest Ratatouille in all of France.

Directors: Bird Brad

is they any flirting in the movie ratatouille?
if so
who said it??
&
what did they say????

Linguini does most of the flirting/sexuality things in the film. Colette is unaware of how Linguini feels about her in the beginning.

Later in the movie, Colette starts to be nicer to Linguini and shows him how to cook well. They spend a lot of time together.

Linguini is rather shy around Colette and messes his words up a lot. He is nervous because he likes her.

Later in the movie, if I remember correctly, they ride her scooter around Paris (I think).

I know they end up being an "item" at the end. I think they kiss like once in the movie.

You should definitely rent it or buy it to make sure. It is quite entertaining.

I would say so. I have the similar taste in movies. I think an eclectic taste means they will see just about anything. I guess it depends on if you like most of what you see in the list?!?!?! =+)
Matthew D | Jul 09, 2007

i really have no idea what some of those movies are…i saw the following:
brokeback mountain
lilo and stitch
stranger than fiction

Overall good taste. There are some on the list I didnt like. But that’s to be expected.
Toodeemo | Jul 09, 2007

I would say "this person" has a wide-ranging palate when it comes to movies. If that’s their DVD collection, it’s got something for everybody. Apparently, they get their DVDs second-hand and can’t pass up a bargain.
?GRITS? | Jul 09, 2007

Some of the movies on here are pretty good. and some of them i wouldnt watch!!! more like ok taste
?De_Lovely? | Jul 09, 2007

That’s an incredible mix of great movies, mediocre and plain awful. I think this person just likes movies. There’s no shame in liking a bad movie.

If that’s not a list of a female’s favorite movies than yes very bad taste. If it is a girls movie list than that is pretty cool.

This is a clip from my Book for English, Good or bad?
(The paragraph lines are missing, but i promise, i did put them in:) )

Just five more minutes and I would be pulling into the station. The train is like a plane. Or a Hogwarts train. It has food, separate cabins, the annoying speaking man/captain and the safety demonstration. All I need now, is a TV? but there is none. So I settled for a book. A very long book. And my Ipod, but seeing as that ran out of battery and I finished my book, I have nothing to do now but wait.
I opened my rucksack and picked out some Skittles. I only eat the yellow and green ones, because In my opinion, there the nicest.
Once I finished those, I offered the business man opposite the rest, but he didn?t take them. He said ?They are full of artificial colours and flavourings. I do not approve? and then went back to tapping keys on his slick laptop rapidly. What is he, some sort of food hygienist?
So I got up, walked out the cabin door and walked down the hallway until I spotted a little boy sitting with his mother. I knocked on the window and walked in.
?Excuse me, but erm- you see, I don?t like skittles unless there green or yellow so- do you want them?? I asked holding them up -smiling like a psychopath- to show the ginger, blue eyed seven year old.
He licked his lips then nodded and turned to face his mother.
?Mumma, can I have them?? he wondered in his high pitched soprano. I let my arm drop realising that I had been standing there like an idiot waving them around.
?Corse sweetie.? she smiled and bared her sparkling teeth. I gave them to the tiny boy and he dug in, scooping out the red ones first. The mother mouthed a thank you and I walked out to rejoin my unfriendly neighbour in the business suit.
Two minutes to go. ?So,? I started saying ?What brings you to New York then? me? arty? whoops, maybe I shouldn?t have laid on the pirate talk. I do that sometimes when I?m nervous, talk with an accent.
He looked up, pulled a confused face, shook his head and said ?That?s none of your business.? I nodded, bit my lip and fiddled with my fingers.
?Oh okay? I muttered and busied myself by looking through my bag, when I didn?t particularly expect to find anything. I gave up and put my hands on my lap and swayed
?So, is it what spies say ?If I tell you, ill have to kill you? sorta thing?? I laughed adding a manly tone.
?no.? he groaned. This time he didn?t even look up, I didn?t even see his mouth move.
?oh, okay. I understand. You don?t wanna tell me that?s fine. Because its not like I wanted to know in the first place. Honestly it doesn?t really bother me that your sitting there obviously trying your hardest to ignore me when I?m only being polite and trying to make a conversation.? I shrugged ?But its fine. No, its great.? he looked up ?Fabuliso? I looked up to the ceiling and said in a French accent.
He opened his mouth to say something-
?attention passengers, welcome to New York City. I hope you enjoyed your journey-? the annoying man announced
?Ha-ha, well this has been fun? I told the business man whilst grabbing my suitcase and swinging my backpack over my shoulder. ?erm- bye? I waved and in a desperate attempt to escape, I banged into the door.
?Handles- stuck? I laughed nervously and tugged on the brass hook. Finally, it opened and I darted out. Thank God I?m never going to have to see him again, I thought. I got to the nearest exit, thanked the lady holding the door and walked off.

Spiritually speaking, if God created morality, why is he not bound by such morality?
Throughout the Bible, God is purposefully destroying cities, killing first-born children, and turning people into pillars of salt.

If anyone did this today, they would be degraded to murderers or terrorists. But because God caused all these events, people seem to ignore the moral implications and treat them as completely justified.

If God created moral constructs such as the ten commandments (e.g. shall no kill) and forgiveness of sin, why does God deliberately break these guidelines?

Not following through with what you teach/preach is one of the most basic forms of hypocrisy.
*(shall not kill)
"What if you’re killing in self-defense? That isn’t because you have bad morals…"

An omnipotent (all-powerful) deity would have no need to kill someone out of self-defense.

You will find its not God killing children etc ….its man.

God never intended to follow his own ‘rules’, that’s what we would call Hypocrisy

God was the Original Hypocrite yet ironically, as Jesus, he claimed to loathe it

Why is it that your only perception of God aside from your true atheism, is maltheism? Why are you arguing against the God of the Bible amongst all other beliefs?

ARE YOU THY GOD? YOU DARE QUESTION GOD OF ALL CREATION? HE KNOW YOU, BUT YOU DO NOT KNOW HIM YOU SPEAK OF. HE STILL LOVES YOU FOR IT IS YOU CHOICE. HE FEELS SAD FOR LOOSING ON OF HIS CHILDREN.

If God created morality, wouldn’t it mean he’s immoral to begin with?

@ Marlon: So God killed humans out of self-defense?
MezmerizinG MasterMinD | Jan 30, 2010

Same reason he is not bound by gravity.

He doesn’t exist.
Feathered Serpent! | Jan 30, 2010

It says "Thou shall not murder" There is a difference between murder and kill.

What if you’re killing in self-defense? That isn’t because you have bad morals…

@MasterminD: No God never killed anyone; those stories aren’t meant to be taken literally.
Marlon | Jan 30, 2010

The first reason is we kill God doesn’t. The reason it is killing when we do it is because we can not create life therefore we do not have the right to terminate it. That is why God is moral even when he kills.
Secondly God does forgive if we are willing to accept his terms. Just because you question God and can not discern his answer does not mean you have just put God to shame. God will not be mocked and he is not intimidated by your questioning.
I am sorry that you see God as an immoral, unforgiving killer. And I am also sorry that you do not see the one true God.

You’re making a fallacious correlation.

And how old are these texts?

Read up on your history, that was the way people thought gods operated. Life was cheap, wars were frequent and retribution the way of things.

From that Judaism develops, saying EVERY life is valuable, vengeance achieves nothing, people shouldn’t be treated like dice tossed about in imperial games, and regardless of everything else that they’ve been taught G-d doesn’t want us to kill our kids in his name.

The texts had to make sense to their original audiences, especially when they were pushing such radical reform and limitation on accepted practices in the ME.

Consider the texts not as strictly literal history, but rather as part of the process of helping us get to a place where we are able to find the attitudes of 4000 years ago no longer acceptable.

Some cultures we are just now discovering have no words in their respective languages for ‘war’, ‘hate’, and other words common to so-called God based societies.

Morality is not a result of any ‘written text’, it is a result of self preservation, and desire for peaceful living.

Morality was not invented it is in our genetic makeup.

Ok now wait a minute , exactly where is God killing first born children?
Jesus died on the cross for us , he accepted and knew his journey long before he was ever born to the virgin Mary.
If you have to defend yourself ,that is not murder. Thou shalt not kill refers to Murder.
The places that God did destroy were the places that were sacraficing there first born children to Baal or some other Evil Diety that demanded blood for a sacrafice on a regular basis.
Jesus paid the ultimate price "ONE" time for all mankind. You only have to accept that and recieve it.It is a Free Gift to all of Mankind.

Discipline issues with my 3.5 yrs old daughter. Help pls.?
Hi,
I’m 39 divorced father of 3.5 yrs old daughter. I see her twice a week.
The mother and I have discipline issues with my daughter. We are not sure what to do(?)

Example:
My daughter has sensitive skin. therefore, we bought new bar soap for her (Dove for sensitive skin) that skin doctor recommended. however she does NOT want to use the new soap, just the previous one we used (liquid with frog picture) that doctor said is not good for her. what am I supposed to do?
let her wash her hands without soap just water!? she behaves the same with the mother.

Any advice on this would be highly appreciated.
THANKS.
